The work, the first in Portuguese to address the subject, aims to help Communication, Marketing, Public Relations and Administration managers, to deal with two of the most important assets for the company: its image and its employees, through assertive communication and clear, based on communication planning to prevent crises and also deal with them quickly and assertively.
Organizational rumors
“Our first impulse is to try to silence and treat rumors as madness, error or failure caused by the other's misunderstanding in the communicative process. However, rumors cannot and should not be ignored within companies, as their networks and articulations compete, in terms of meaning, belonging and credibility , with the so-called official narratives. Therefore, it is necessary to understand, map, manage and use communication in an integrated way to deal assertively, clearly and didactically with the situation”, explains the author.
