The fight for a place in the News Feed is constantly intensifying, and with it the classic Czech question arises: How to get around it all? A guaranteed recipe that doesn't work Following on from the previous article, in which we were interested in the reach of posts on Facebook , today I will focus on how to ensure that the content of the site actually reaches users . And that without having to pay exorbitant amounts of money for advertising. Before we look at how it can be done, let's talk about how it can't be done . A few weeks ago, a "guaranteed" recipe for being seen started circulating in the corridors. Just get the user to add the page to their interest list . You may have already figured it out yourself - it doesn't guarantee success. image I'm not saying that the "interest list" feature isn't interesting. But it is certainly not as savior as many believe. It will not ensure that users see your posts more often .

They do not appear C Level Executive List automatically. To see them, you have to click on the given list of interests. And that is almost as "difficult" an activity as clicking on a specific page. I still see the ability to create a list of sites that interest the user as useful - it allows them to create a list of sites and people they want to receive content from , and then check that regularly instead of the main page. But can people be counted on to regularly read their list of interests ? I'm afraid not. Notifications are appreciated However, there is a way for a fan to automatically unsubscribe from their favorite page's posts. I mean notifications that bypass EdgeRank. I assume that this alternative was offered by Facebook as a slight compensation for reducing the reach of some Facebook pages. After all, company pages are a significant source of income thanks to advertising, so it may not be worthwhile for Facebook to limit them too much.

image Inside Facebook confirmed that Facebook is gradually rolling out this feature to all pages . If you don't see it on yours yet, it will definitely happen in the near future. If you as a user have a favorite page whose content you don't want to miss, simply set the option to receive notifications and you will be notified whenever the page publishes new content. From the site administrator's point of view, this feature is more than desirable. But how to get the fans to be notified? I see no reason not to point this out to them in the course of communication. But with feeling . At a time when millions of statuses like: “Have you been to the toilet today? If so → LIKE,” any such challenge will be a bit of a prank on the fans. But if you have quality content , I'm not afraid that there won't be those who appreciate the notification of the possibility to subscribe to all posts. All you have to do is try it .
