Facebook Pixel: Guide updated to 2017

Starting February 15, 2017 , the Facebook Conversion Pixel will disappear and you will only be able to work with the Facebook Pixel . Up to this point, both Pixels have been coexisting for quite some time, but the time has come when Facebook has concluded the "transition" by moving to a single code that is easier to implement and has more functionalities . If you work with Facebook ads, I recommend that you install this code on your website so that your campaigns achieve better results and you can work on different functionalities depending on the objectives you are looking for and adapting it to your target audience. From experience, I know that many people today still do not have the Pixel installed or even know what it is.

Thanks to the Pixel you can: Show your ads to people who are more likely to achieve the objective you want:



From filling out a contact form to making a purchase. Create custom audiences for your website: Facebook detects the users who visit your website so that you can show personalized advertising to them on this social network, regardless of whether they are fans of your page or not. Create similar audiences: Find those people who have a profile similar to those of your best clients. Dynamic product ads: Show visitors to your page ads based on what they have visited. Know what the audience that visits your website is like: It offers you statistics about the people it detects who have Facebook and have visited your website. Mention that there is only one Pixel per advertising account , so you must install it on those web pages where you launch advertising from that account.
